Biography

Annette Palacios (b. 2003, Brooklyn, NY) is a Chicana photographer based in Brooklyn. Her work explores themes of family, religion, and the relationship between play and rest. She is motivated by her goal to honor and celebrate her Mexican culture. She finds inspiration through collaboration with her family and reflecting on their lived experiences, as they are universal stories of love, migration, and sacrifice taking place across time and space in Mexico and NYC. She currently studies film and media at college in NYC.
